In a street boasting some of the oldest homes in Fairlight, this cottage was in need of more space to bring it in line with today's standards and to satisfy the needs of this growing family. The alterations and additions included extensive excavation to give the family much needed off street parking and extra storage in the form of a double garage. An extra living area and entertaining terrace was added to the ground floor and a parent's retreat area with ensuite and study area was created via a top floor addition. Through careful design and a commitment to matching the home's heritage features, the renovations have resulted in a beautiful character-filled home. Modern touches like C-bus electrical system, under-floor heating and recycled timber floors have all combined to create a much-loved and admired family home.

“Very professional and focused on quality but still friendly.
Lots of communication with us to make sure we were involved with every step and very helpful with design ideas along the way. Happy to change anything at anytime along the way so we would be happy with the end result.
Having James on site 99% of the time and actually working was unusual for us. Previous experience has been that the builder is onsite very little so a lot of the day to day stuff doesn’t get discussed... They were a pleasure to have in my home for 6 months. ”
