James and his team of professionals all share a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to creating outstanding results. JHBC fosters an environment that values the team taking pride in their workmanship.
James’ support for the building industry is shown through his commitment to train and mentor young apprentices. As a testament to this, JHBC apprentice Neil was named a finalist in the prestigious HIA’s Apprentice of the Year Award. Keegan was JHBC’s first ever apprentice and after several years working with James, has become his ‘right hand’ man.
James is also fortunate to have three senior carpenters, who between them have a diverse yet complementary skill set, including shipwright, welder and jetty builder.
"The JHBC team are a very "can do" group, who put their heads together to come up with solutions. They've worked hard to deliver our precise vision. It's a tribute to James that he's attracted a rare bunch of like-minded tradesmen who are all delightful to work with."
"The mutual respect between the various trades, suppliers and previous clients all giving positive feedback is unique!
That would be a difficult thing to maintain in this industry so I think it is to your credit."
